Level 144 is the fourth level in Gingerbread Glade and the 47th candy order level. To pass this level, you must collect 121 frosting layers in 28 moves or fewer.
When you complete the level, Sugar Crush is activated and will score you additional points.
Even with UFOs, getting all the frosting layers in 28 moves can be tricky since some are locked.
If they remain uncleared, the UFOs heavily tend to target the frosting on the top-left and top-right corners of the board, which likely reduce their usefulness.
Fortunately, you are given two of them, which increases the damage done to blockers.
You need to clear an average of more than 5 layers of frosting per move, which may prove tricky because of the awkward board shape.
Despite four colours, the awkward board shape makes it harder to make special candies.
Locked frosting has to be cleared through special candies or UFOs.
The board is narrow, making it harder to work from the top to the bottom. It's highly likely that there's still a side with lots of layered frosting left to collect.
There are wrapped candies at the bottom that may help, but they are locked up and are in corners.
Given the above, 23 moves are not enough.
The orders are worth 12,100 points.[1] Hence, an additional 800 points is required to earn one star.
