Level 172 was the second level in Cotton Carnival and the 24th candy order level in Dreamworld. To pass this level, you must collect 40 yellow candies and 40 green candies in 21 moves or fewer. When you complete the level, Sugar Crush is activated and will score you additional points.

Difficulty

  • This is the same thing as level 157, so you should have no problem redoing that level.
  • Moon struck will prevent candies matching both colours on the moon scale from spawning. If any required colour appears on either side, four additional candies have to be collected in addition to the 2 candies the player has to collect two moves after the moon struck.[1][2]
  • The orders are worth 8,000 points.[3] Hence, an additional 2,000 points is required to earn one star.

  • Repeat the strategy at level 157, except now, be careful with Odus and its moon scale.
  • (Reality-Level 157 Strategy: "Avoid making unnecessary moves. Focus your moves at the bottom, as it can create cascades which can collect more candies.")

Trivia

  • This level is completely different than its counterpart in Reality for unintended reasons.
  • This level is exactly the same as level 157.
    • It is currently the only level that is the copy of another that is not yet redesigned.
  • This is the first jelly level in Reality that was replaced by a candy order level in Dreamworld.
  • This is one of the few levels in this episode that does not have any four-layered icing.

  1. ↑ 40 candies × ((1 move + 1 move) / 21 moves) = 3.81 candies
  2. ↑ This assumes that the start of the moon struck removes less than the number of required candies whose colour appears on the moon scale.
