Timed levels can be very rare. This type is now the least common level type in Candy Crush Saga, making up 4.43% of the 3050 levels, with 135 total appearances.

They are actually moderately common up to World 6, but long appearance droughts will occur afterwards. The distribution is also highly skewed, as most of them occur in the first 5 worlds, with a cluster of them in World 8. Currently, there has been a significant increase in the frequency of timed levels; the most recent episodes often contains two to four timed levels per episode, even more than early episodes. However, timed levels are getting phased out around World 43.

In Dreamworld, every timed level has been replaced by the other four level types (Mixed Mode levels are an exception because it is a level type that had introduced its debut in a far further episode of Reality).

The level with the longest time limit is level 343 in Pearly White Plains, at 3 full minutes while the level with the shortest time limit is level 1198 in Fungi Forest, at only 10 seconds. However, it does not beat the time limit of the original Candy Crush, at a full 4 minutes.

Note that goals include target score.

  • Until recently, there are no time levels that are extremely hard for reaching the target score. Therefore, there are no extremely hard time levels. However, the latest batch features extremely hard or even nearly impossible timed levels.
    • Timed levels are easier levels, as they are much less problematic than moves, ingredient, jelly, and candy order levels. This is no longer the case for high-level timed levels.
